Eins, zwei, drei, vier, fünf,…
We had an exciting start in the German Kinderclub – the younger children have been meeting “Dinosaurier” and making their own. We have then been counting their spikes in German, and tried to describe their colors and some body parts in German as well. We also found out how to use the iPads to learn more German.
A great start, well done!
The children in the Kinderclub have learnt about the tradition of “St. Martinstag”, which is celebrated in many parts of Germany and Austria at this time of year. They made their very own German lanterns, decorated with Sonne, Mond und Sterne. Like the children in Germany, we then went on a short lantern procession. It was already quite dark, and our bright lanterns were showing us the way!
