School Photos finish today! Thanks to everyone for your patience and the children especially for all the smiles!
We will be in touch by the end of the week hopefully with how to view the proofs and instructions on how to order.
Well what a night we all had!!
I hope those who attended have recovered from the hangovers and have rested their dancing feet. The SSA and the Ball Committee have had so many fantastic comments, so it was so good to hear that everyone enjoyed themselves.
Even the DJ had commented that it was nice to be at an event where everyone was there to party!!
As well as raising money for the SSA funds, the majority of the evening was dedicated to raising funds for Wishes 4 Kids, a charity that Muzzy Izzet is a patron of. We raised a fantastic amount of £2,600 for the charity, and official handover of the cheque is due to take place soon.
We would take this opportunity to thank so many people who made the evening a great success. Special thanks go to;
The Stoneygate School Association and Ball Committee
Helen Robinson, Rachel Harris, Katie Smith, George Baker, Kay Johnson, Georgina Tutt, Judit Szabo, Elizabeth Hope, Nicky Binnie, Louise Jacklin, Tommie Marlow
STOP PRESS: BY POPULAR DEMAND – THE 2015 BALL IS BEING FINALISED – DETAILS WILL FOLLOW SHORTLY
What a fun night we all had on Friday night at the Question of Sport Night held at the Tigers .
The raffle and auction items, including a snooker cue signed by Mark Selby and two weekends in an apartment in Budapest (thank you Judit for donating this prize) raised over £2,000 for our chosen charity ‘Wishes for Kids’.
The two teams, captained by Martin Johnson and Paul Nixon, did battle to the questions posed by our esteemed Quiz Master, Matt Poole.
Although Johno’s team of Muzzy Izzet and our own Mr Palmer put up a brave fight, Nico’s team of Sarah “Cutty” Cohen and a very knowledgeable Mr Jelly were victorious.
Thank you so much for all of our team members for giving up their valuable time on a Friday evening to entertain us. Massive thanks also go to Matt Poole and his technical team for presenting such a professional event. Finally, thank you to all the parents and their family and friends who came along to support us.
