Yesterday saw the annual Arts Festival. All the children performed beautifully and the judges commended the children for their work and offered practical advice for improvement. Both the Music (Mr Peter Davis, Director of Music at Oakham) and Recital (Mr Barry Starbuck) judges instigated audience participation which got everyone active before coffee!
The best part of the Arts Festival is always the fact that every student in Years 3 to 8 is actively involved in producing pieces. Through class heats the best pieces are selected and on the day all students have a chance to see the most accomplished pieces for the year, which hopefully inspires them for the future.
A big thank you goes again to all the wonderful parents who came and supported the event.
