The concert, on Tuesday 3rd March, kicked off spectacularly with Junior Keyboard Club playing Oh, When the Saints Go Marching In. Next were some guitarists, a particularly good show of skill by all of them. After that, was a mix of keyboardists and percussionists, a particular highlight was Oliver M’s own drum composition and Will H’s performance of La Bamba on the keyboard. James Koeberle spiced up his originally slow, steady performance with an upbeat drum beat. Henry V, Miles J and Edward B were fantastic on the guitar. Then was Senior Keyboard Club with an explosive performance of Millennium by Robbie Williams.
Then was George W, with incredibly quick fingers and an interesting piece. Kai played well followed by an assorted mix of all three categories. A funky performance from Felix, ICAUFO by Declan and Highway to Hell played by Hugo was superb. Kezia played Space Oddity on her electric ukulele. Philip played an outstanding guitar solo from Bohemian Rhapsody, which was followed by a keyboard and bass guitar duet by Antonia V and Felix B, what a way to finish!
Well done to everyone who played and a special thank you to Mr Hudson and Mr James for putting in all the hard work to make the concert a success!!!
