Year 8 marvelled at the workings of the heart last week, investigating double circulation, as blood is pumped out through the main artery, the AORTA to the body, and back via the giant vein, the VENA CAVA  In a revision quiz today I asked the name of the main vein of the heart. Er..Magna Carta? came the reply!
