The now familiar and much-loved sight of the Camper Van Café will be at Junior Sports day on Tuesday from 11.30am.

As ever your support is really appreciated. Please come to buy teas and coffee, soft cold drinks or iced Pimms. There will also be a fantastic selection of freshly baked cakes, generously made and donated by parents.  Raffle tickets will also be on sale with a fantastic summer hamper as top prize.

A Date for your Diary – November 15

Plans are well underway for the inaugural Stoneygate School Ball.

It’s due to take place at Shearsby Bath on Saturday, November 15.

Watch this space for more information – but in the meantime, Remember, Remember School Ball in November.

Details are also being finalised for a Stoneygate Question of Sport Night.

This event will feature some of our well-known sporting dads.

We will keep you posted.

Update on Fundraising and the results

The SSA was disappointed to have to cancel this week’s Mums’ Big Night Out. It is usually very popular and a great fundraiser. The event did fall on the same date as the Senior Choir concert and unfortunately the low ticket sales meant it was not viable.

On a positive note, the Stoneygate Bake Off prizes were handed out to our winning talented young cooks during last week’s assembly.   It proved to be a brilliant Bake Off again and the sale of the competition entries raised £150 for the Fiona Cairns charity.

There’s all this fundraising going on, but how we are spending the money?

The most recent purchase has been new table tennis bats, nets and balls. These have been bought for the senior school to use at break time.

The SSA would like to hear from you with suggestions for ways in which the monies raised can be spent so the children benefit.

Please keep checking the blog for further SSA news. Many thanks for all your support.
